Slave Leia Costume
Princess Leia's slave costume has sustained its popularity since Carrie Fisher first wore it, after getting captured by Jabba the Hutt in the 1983 film, Return of the Jedi.
Fans worldwide purchase and create Slave Leia costumes, paying homage to the epic film and the character.
Slave Leia Bikini Facts
- It was designed by Aggie Guerard Rodgers and Nilo Rodis-Jamero.
- Carrie Fisher complained the previous movie costumes were not interesting enough, inspiring its design.
- Designers molded Fisher's torso to esure the outfit fit her perfectly.
- Fisher's stunt double, Tracey Eddon, also wore the outfit.
I had a photoshoot as Blonde Slave Leia at New Smyrna Beach, FL. It has unique parking policies. You park and drive directly on the sand. It was cool in the AM when my girlfriend Spring and I arrived. However, by the time the shoot ended, the sand had seen a lot of traction. It was difficult to drive on, and, in full costume, we got stuck!
